At St. Francis School we believe penmanship and cursive handwriting are important. To build on this life skill we have developed a program where the students in grades 3rd-5th will practice the handwriting, learn to read it, address an envelope and build relationships, as well as, friendships with some of our parishioners through our "Parishioner Pen Pal Program". The students and their pen pals write several letters back and forth in cursive handwriting throughout the course of the year. There will be a "Meet and Greet" where our pen pals can meet in person. If you would like more information or to become a Pen Pal please contact us below.
"St. Francis School has been a wonderful place for my children to grow their Christian values, education and confidence. This close community of students, teachers and parish members is great to be a part of. By being active in the Home and School Association, I've had the opportunity to help the school in its desire for continued improvement. The relationships that I've formed through this experience have been the icing on the cake." Anne Matzek
