Fifth Grade Class Prayer
Thank you Jesus, for all of the St. Francis teachers, staff & volunteers that have touched our lives over our seven years here. We are grateful that things are mostly back to normal. Thank you for our parents that take care of us. We pray for all of the Leaders of our World, Country, Parish and School. Please help them to make good decisions for the health and well-being of all of our families and friends. We pray for the financial stability of our school and St. Francis Parish. Please help us fill the needs for leadership in our school. Please send the Holy Spirit to those that have fallen away from the church to come back. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. PRAYER PARTNERS: Please join us as we lift up Miss Hanley and our Fifth Grade students Walker Loberg, June Feuerhelm, Markus Lorentz and Grace Turvaville, in prayer during the month of October. Don’t worry about anything: instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6 During the month of November, we will be lifting up Miss Hanley and our Fourth Grade students in prayer. ST. FRANCIS SCHOOL VIRTUES PROGRAM: St. Francis School has had a strong tradition of promoting virtues. Virtues are defined as ‘behavior showing high moral standards’. This year we will celebrate students who embody the virtues of Obedience, Gentleness, Attentiveness, Honesty, Helpfulness, Patience, Kindness, Forgiveness, Diligence, and Self-Control. To celebrate, certificates will be presented monthly at school Mass for grades K-5. If your child will be receiving a certificate at Mass, you will be notified prior to the date of the Mass so you have the opportunity to attend and celebrate with your student if you are able. 3YK and 4YK students will be presented with their certificates in school. TUITION STATEMENTS (Preschool, K - 5th): Please remember to view your statement at any time in JMC. https://stfrancis.onlinejmc.com If you have any questions, please contact the office. Tuition Assistance is available to families with students in K - 5th Grade. Please contact the school office for more information. REMINDERS:

To learn more about FMSC, visit their website at https://www.fmsc.org. Feeding kids. Feeding spirits. Empowering communities. Every year, millions of children die from preventable causes such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria and undernutrition. Hunger is still causing nearly half of deaths in children under 5 years old. From this data, we estimate at least 6,200 children die each day from causes related to undernutrition. This is heartbreaking. Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) believes hope starts with food. As a Christian nonprofit, FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. FMSC works with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development. FMSC meals are developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition. Nutrition allows children to grow, thrive and develop to their full potential. FMSC’s mission - Feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. The approach - Our process is simple. Donations given by people just like you fund the meal ingredients. Volunteers hand-pack the meals. Meals are donated to FMSC food partners around the world, where kids are fed and lives are saved!
