Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving dedicated to supporting causes that make a positive impact on the world around us. St. Francis School has made a positive impact on thousands of children by grounding them in faith, kindness, respect, and academic excellence for 74 years!
Are you ready to join us in making a gift, making a difference, and making an impact? This year’s goal is to raise $5,000 to purchase several large items that the school needs to replace, including three computers ($2,000), stainless steel lunch trays and bowls ($1,000) and two adjustable outdoor basketball hoops ($2,000). Mrs. Matzek’s and Mrs. Dougherty’s desktop computers are outdated and need replacement. Mrs. Chatt/Mrs. Turvaville are in need of a laptop that they can use while switching classrooms to teach grades 3-5. In addition, our plastic lunch trays and bowls have been in use for decades and need to be replaced with a safer, healthier stainless steel option. Finally, our outdoor basketball hoops have been well loved for decades and show it. We would like to replace these with adjustable, commercial grade basketball hoops that can be used during recess and physical education classes.
Let’s do this, together! Donations can be made online or mailed to St. Francis School at 244 W. Woodworth Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011.
Thanks to your generosity during previous Giving Tuesday campaigns, the school was able to purchase three new color printers and a new copier/fax machine. Thank you for helping us keep our equipment up-to-date so our teachers and staff can provide an exceptional educational experience to our students!
