WEDNESDAY MASS MUSIC: Please contact the school if you know of anyone who might be able to play piano/organ for the Wednesday morning Mass that is attended by our students.
STANDARDIZED TESTING: Second through fifth grades are participating in the diocesan standardized testing program which began on October 31st and will continue through November 18th.
ELLSWORTH GIFT BOX PROGRAM: The Ellsworth Gift Box program is currently looking for sponsors for families in the Ellsworth School District area. Any families looking for assistance with holiday needs should apply at the latest, by November 14th. Forms can be returned to any Ellsworth Community School district building office, Attn: Ellsworth Gift Box Program. Anyone interested in getting information can get it from the Ellsworth School District website, at the Ellsworth Public Library or the St. Francis School website.
THANKSGIVING VACATION - NOV. 23-27: We will close for Thanksgiving Wed., Nov. 23 through Sun., Nov. 27.
EASY FUNDRAISING: Have you tried Shoparoo?? It is an app that takes pictures of your receipts…any receipt. It is so simple. Just download the app and follow the prompts to set up an account connected with St. Francis. A check for $259 was received last week through this program and it has been deposited in the Home and School account.

RECONCILIATION FOR ADVENT: Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will be receiving Reconciliation with Father Eric during the month of November.
FIRST RECONCILIATION PARENT MEETING: Parent Meeting – Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 5:45 pm – Cheryl Kaufer will present.
FIRST RECONCILIATION: First Reconciliation will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Francis Church.
ADORATION/BENEDICTION - DEC. 2: Students will attend Mass on Friday, December 2nd and will stay for adoration and benediction following Mass.
NO SCHOOL - DEC. 8: Students will not have classes on Thursday, December 8 as we observe the holy day, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM - DEC. 15: Grades K-5 will present their annual Christmas Program on Thurs., Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. in the church. We will have a reception in the parish hall immediately following the program. Each family is asked to bring some type of food (cookies, bars, cheese & crackers, etc.) for this reception. A dress rehearsal will be held Wed., Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. This is open to anyone who would like to attend.
4YK WINTER PROGRAM - DEC. 20: Our 4YK students will present a Winter Program to their parents and guests on Tues., Dec. 20. Our 4YK students and their parents are invited to join us for breakfast following the program. More information including your RSVP for breakfast will be sent out with our newsletter on Monday, November 28th.
CHRISTMAS VACATION: Students will be dismissed at 2:45 on Thursday, December 22nd for Christmas vacation. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 3rd.
