Dear St. Francis School Families, November 12, 2018
3rd Grade Prayer
Dear Lord, Please help us to remember when to pay attention,
to have patience with ourselves and others, and to know when it is okay to be silly and when to be serious.
Please remind us to always include others. We are thankful for the opportunity to learn what we need to know,
for our friends, families, and pets. We are also thankful for those who take care of us, such as doctors and nurses. Most of all, we are thankful for God and Jesus. Amen.
Please join us in prayer for our 3rd Grade Class
We all need to seek God in prayer with our joys, worries, and thankful moments. Thank you for being a prayer partner for our school. This week we will be lifting up our 3rd Grade Class in prayer ~ Ava Acker, Jens Christensen, Amelia Dopp, Lucy Feuerhelm, Shawn Huppert, Aubrey Marks, Merrick Mason, Kate Nelson, Regan Nelson, and Evie Peterson.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
1 John 5:14
PRAYER PARTNERS: Next week, we will join together in prayer for all the things we are thankful for!
HOLIDAY FOOD AND FUNDS DRIVE: Our 5th Grade Class at St. Francis is sponsoring a Holiday Food and Funds Drive to benefit the Ellsworth Food Pantry. In October alone, our local pantry served 394 of our friends and neighbors. Please give what you can to help everyone in our community have enough to eat during this Holiday Season. Please see the enclosed flyer for all the info!
***Please encourage all your friends and family who attend the St. Francis Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 13th to bring a food item to place in the collection boxes at the church.
Thanks so much for your help!
