Jesus our teacher we pray to you for the virtues we need to avoid temptation.
We pray for courage to be strong in the face of fear, we pray for strength when we feel weak, we pray for wisdom when our thoughts are filled by the temptation of pleasure. Help us to live faith-filled lives today and always. Amen
Dear St. Francis School Families,
A case of head lice has been detected in our Kindergarten classroom. Anyone can get head lice mainly through direct head-to-head contact but also from sharing hats, brushes and other personal items. Please do your part to prevent the spread of lice by checking your child(ren) daily for the next few weeks, and on a regular basis thereafter. If you should discover a case of head lice, be sure to follow a recommended treatment plan and notify the school office. Please read through the informational sheet included in your weekly envelope (this information was also emailed to parents last Friday) from the District School Nurse. Also, Lice Avengers in Glenwood City specializes in lice treatment and there is helpful information on their website. http://lice-avengers.com
