We all need to seek God in prayer with our joys, worries, and thankful moments. Thank you for being a prayer partner for our school. This week we will be lifting up our Staff, all our Volunteers, and our Families in prayer.

PRAYER PARTNERS: Next week we will join together in prayer for our St. Francis Parish and Community.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Students will participate in The Stations of the Cross during Lent which will be led by our Seminarian Joe Richards.
SERVICE PROJECTS FOR LENT: St. Francis students will be participating in several special service projects during Lent. These projects will focus on reaching out to our community and sharing God’s love with others.
HOME & SCHOOL OFFICERS NOMINATION FORM: The Home & School Association needs to fill two officer positions for the 2018-2019 school year. Please complete the enclosed nomination form and return by next Wednesday, March 28. Thank you.
SPRING PICNIC LUNCH – MARCH 20 - TOMORROW: Mrs. Brooks has planned a spring picnic lunch for us on Tuesday, March 20. Students are encouraged to bring a beach towel to sit on!
ST. FRANCIS HOODED SWEATSHIRT SPECIAL: A St. Francis Hooded Sweatshirt Special Flyer was sent home in your weekly envelope last week. Orders are due by Friday, March 23. Please make checks payable to St. Francis School.
LENTEN MITE BOXES DUE PALM SUNDAY: The student mite boxes should be returned to church on Palm Sunday weekend, March 24 - 25. This almsgiving for the poor is one element of our Church’s recommended Lenten practices.
END OF THIRD QUARTER – MARCH 23/NO SCHOOL – MARCH 26: Our third quarter ends Friday, March 23. There is no school on Monday, March 26.
EASTER VACATION SCHEDULE: There are no classes on Good Friday, March 30.
GR. 2 - FIRST COMMUNION PRACTICE & BANNER MAKING - APRIL 3: Second grade families whose child will receive their First Communion at St. Francis Parish this year are reminded of our practice and banner making evening on Tuesday, April 3, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the parish hall.
SPRING PICTURES – APRIL 5: Students will have an opportunity to have a spring photo taken on Thursday, April 5. PLEASE NOTE: ONLY THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE PREPAID OR BRING THEIR ORDER FORM BY OR ON 4/5 WILL
BE PHOTOGRAPHED! This is a change for previous years. Younger brothers/sisters may be photographed, beginning at 8:00 a.m. If you wish to have a group photo taken of your children, please send a note indicating that by
Wednesday, April 4. We plan to take pictures in this order for families that have prepaid: individual photos of younger siblings, any group photos, then individual photos of St. Francis students.
The flyer with background choices is included today in the weekly envelope. Each child needs one form with your choice of background marked for that child.
SCHOOL COLORS DAY - APRIL 6: Students are encouraged to dress in school colors, blue and white, on the first Friday of the month, April 6. Mark your calendar and get in the spirit!
GR. 2 FIRST COMMUNION - APRIL 8: Our second grade students will receive their First Communion Sunday, April 8 at the 10:30 p.m. Mass. Please keep these students in your prayers as they continue to prepare for this important day!
TEACHER INSERVICE - NO CLASSES - APRIL 25: St. Francis students will not have classes on Wednesday, April 25 as our teachers will be attending a diocesan teacher in-service in Chippewa Falls, WI.
2017-2018 YEARBOOK ORDERS: Orders are being taken for this year’s yearbooks. As in the past, the yearbook will be delivered next September, allowing us to include photos through the last day of school! The price for the all-color, 28 page, soft-cover yearbook is $20.00. You can order your yearbook online at YBPay.lifetouch.com with the Yearbook ID Code: 1934618. You may also send your payment to school. Please make checks payable to St. Francis
School. You may write one check for all of your children.
NEW MOTHER’S GROUP: Come join a group of women for a night of fun on March 22 7pm - 8pm as we support each other through our vocation of motherhood. Our first night will be a meet and greet with Bunco and St Patrick theme fun. Monthly meetings will be held September through May, come when you can.
