REGISTRATION FORMS FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR: We begin taking registrations for next school year today, and will continue through Wednesday, January 24. Each child who will attend St. Francis School next year will need to have a completed Registration Application Form and Tuition Payment Plan on file. These forms are included in today’s envelope for those families who will have children in grades K-5 next school year. Please complete and return as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday, January 24. A 4YK registration packet will be mailed to incoming families. The price break for parish members, when originally established, was intended to recognize the financial commitment these families were already making to St. Francis Parish. Each family who claims parishioner status is asked to review their financial contributions to St. Francis Parish and make an increase where appropriate. For the 2018-2019 school year, tuition will increase $200 per student for parish families, and $200 per student for non-parish families. See the enclosed Tuition Payment Plan for more specifics. There is tuition assistance available to help those in need of financial support. An anonymous donor does not want the cost of tuition to inhibit your child from attending our school and may be able to help cover part of your tuition amount. Please contact Mr. Buckel for more information about tuition assistance for next year; all inquiries will be kept confidential.
ST. FRANCIS BEFORE SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM: We are excited about our new before school care program! This program will be called the Eagle’s Nest, named after our St. Francis mascot the Eagle. Yes, we are the St. Francis Eagles! This program begins everyday at 7:00am and is will be located in our school library which provides a comfortable, carpeted area with many books, access to computers and tables for activities. Our library is also located next to a drinking fountain and the restrooms. For this program you will enter through the front doors of the school (facing the church). The library is at the bottom of the stairs. Just follow the signs! Your child will be able to keep their belongings in the cubbies right outside the entrance to the library. Registration forms were sent home before Christmas Break and they are also available in the school office. Parents are asked to walk their child to the library and sign them in each day in the attendance binder. Each day your child attends it will be recorded in your account which you will have access to from our JMC program (similar to our lunch accounts). If your account balance is below $25.00 a notice will be sent to out to in your weekly envelope.
We are working hard to make this the best program possible for your child and we are so glad that we are able to offer this service to our families.
