Dear St. Francis School Families,
Good and gracious God, we know that with faith and trust in you all things are possible. Help us each feel your presence and your calming influence in our lives. May the knowledge and awareness of your power assist each of us as we learn. Amen
Thank you for being a Prayer Partner for our school!
We all need to seek God in prayer with our joys, worries, and thankful moments. Thank you for being a prayer partner for our school. This week we will be lifting up our 2nd Grade Class in prayer ~ Ava Acker, Jens Christensen, Amelia Dopp, Lucy Feuerhelm, Marley Halverson, Shawn Huppert, Aubrey Marks, Merrick Mason, Kate Nelson, Regan Nelson, and Evie Peterson.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14
PRAYER PARTNERS: Next week we will join together in prayer for our 1st Grade Class.
WELCOME TO JOE RICHARDS: A big Welcome to Mr. Joe Richards. In case you have not heard Mr. Richards is a Seminarian who will be completing 14 weeks of his internship at St. Francis in the parish and school. Part of Joe’s internship requires him to work with students and staff of the school. Presently Mr. Richards is scheduled in the classrooms as well as helping students with Wednesday Mass. Thanks Joe.
REGISTRATION FORMS FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR: Please send in your registration forms and tuition payment plans as soon as possible. There is tuition assistance available to help those in need of financial support. An anonymous donor does not want the cost of tuition to inhibit your child from attending our school and may be able to help cover part of your tuition amount. Please contact Mr. Buckel for more information about tuition assistance for next year; all inquiries will be kept confidential.

CARNIVAL: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25th, 2018 11:30 to 4 PM
Prizes: The Carnival could use more kid-themed prizes to use as giveaways during our Carnival Bingo game or for extra raffle prizes. If you have any new toys, games or kids items to share, please send them into the school office. This is completely optional, but works well if you find a good sale or have something extra tucked away in the closet. The value should be $5-$15.
Grand Raffle Tickets:
All grand raffle tickets are due back to the office today. Please indicate, on the enclosed form, if you would like more tickets, are returning any unpaid, or if you have a buyer for the tickets and need time to collect the payment. The family that sells the highest value of combined Traditional and Grand Raffle Tickets will be awarded a $100 Wal-Mart Gift Card. Keep up the great work and thank you for your efforts!
Worker Sign Up: Thank you for the amazing response to last week’s request! We do still have about 15 families that we have not heard back from. If you are one of those families and would be able to help during shift two (from 1:30-4:00pm) we could really use your help!!! Areas where help is needed include Kitchen, Game Store, Wind Machine and Bingo.
Also, we could use a few more strong people to help with the clean-up, which involves transferring games into the church basement. Having a truck for this process would be an extra bonus!
Please take another look at the sign up and brainstorm if there is anyone else you can invite to help. Responsible kids that are 13 and over may sign up too. http://signup.com/go/QsYBWFd
